The first settings items let you choose the sharing type:

  • Read only: a user with the link can only browse the file or folder contents. They cannot delete, change, or add anything.
  • Allow upload and edits: a user with the link can upload, modify, and delete files.
  • File drop (upload only): a user with the link can only upload new files, they cannot browse them (folder contents are hidden), modify them, or delete them. Not available for file sharing.

If you want to secure the content, choose Password protect (after checking it, a field for entering the password will appear) and optionally set an expiration date, after which the system will turn off sharing.

You can cancel sharing at any time by clicking × Remove sharing.
