Free Disk with services
We offer WEDOS Disk free of charge with every active Webhosting, VPS HDD/SSD, and dedicated server:
- for each webhosting, 5 GB of space (max. 5 thousand files);
- for each VPS HDD/SSD or dedicated server, 10 GB of space (max. 10 thousand files).
If you have more hosting services, you can set up WEDOS Disk for free for each of them.
If the respective hosting service is suspended or canceled, the system will also suspend or cancel the corresponding Disk. Data from a canceled Disk cannot be restored, just like data from a canceled hosting service.
Setting up Free Disk
Set up WEDOS Disk free of charge with a hosting service by following these steps:
- Log in to the client administration ⧉.
- In the top menu, select Hosting or Server services Webhosting, VPS HDD, VPS SSD, or Dedicated servers.
- From the list of services, select the one for which you want to set up Disk.
- In the left menu, click WEDOS Disk free.
- Click the Create WEDOS Disk free button.
Disk setup will be completed within 10 minutes after the order is submitted.
Frequently asked questions
Can I combine multiple Free Disks into one larger one?
No, each service has its own Free Disk, tied specifically to that service. They cannot be merged.
Can I upgrade from Free Disk to a paid version?
You cannot directly increase Free Disk, but you can order ⧉ a paid version and move the data to it. The original Free Disk will remain available for as long as you operate the service it is tied to.
