Mailhosting – Changing the Plan and Billing Period

Plan comparison

The Mailhosting service offers two plans, which can be further configured with add-on services. The basic differences between the individual plans are listed in the table:

Change plan

With the Mailosting service, you can upgrade or downgrade the plan. When changing the plan, keep the following rules in mind:

  • When upgrading the plan, the system will issue a supplementary invoice in an amount corresponding to the price of the service for the entire remaining period. If supplementary services are canceled during the upgrade, the system will reduce the price accordingly.
  • When downgrading the plan, we do not refund the money paid for the upgrade, not even partially. The system will allow the downgrade only if the state of the e-mail services meets the parameters of the target plan.

Preparation for changing the plan

No preparation is needed to upgrade the plan.

Before downgrading the plan, make sure that your e-mail mailboxes do not contain more than 5 GB of e-mails. If you need to switch to this plan with a larger volume of e-mails, contact customer support via the form ⧉. Provide the service name and the target e-mail capacity.

Performing the plan change

Submit a change of the Mailhosting service plan using these steps:

  1. Log in to the customer administration ⧉.
  2. In the navigation bar, select Hosting services Mailhosting.
  3. Select from the list the service whose plan you want to change.
  4. In the left menu, select Change variant.
  5. For the selected plan, choose the billing period and click the SELECT button.
  6. Confirm the change with the SET PLAN button.

If the additional payment for the change is non-zero, the system will immediately issue and send a supplementary invoice.


Change billing period

To change the billing period, proceed as in the plan change, but in the box with the selected plan, check the desired billing period.

The change of billing period will only take effect after the current service expiration date.


Frequently asked questions

I am upgrading the plan to Business with monthly billing. Why is the value of the supplementary invoice so high?

The supplementary invoice charges the service according to the current billing period. With a monthly period, the system will issue invoices only from the next period onward.
