It is important to keep the billing information for a service up to date, because the system sends not only billing documents to it, but also other communications, for example information about service changes or outages.
You can change billing information only for documents related to payments that the system has not yet processed. Therefore, before making a payment, we recommend checking the details carefully, especially if there have been changes since the last payment for the services.
Each service has its own billing information. However, you can make the change in bulk for any number of services of the same type. Log in to the VEDOS client administration and follow this procedure:
- Select the service type in the navigation bar, for example Domains.
- Check all services for which you want to update the details.
- At the bottom of the table, select Change customer details (billing information) and click the Perform button.
- Fill in the current customer details, check the consents, and click the Continue button.
- Review the details and click the Finish button.
To update the billing information for other services, such as Webhosting, open the list of services of the given type from the navigation bar and proceed the same way as for domains.
A few important notes:
- When you have an issued payment request and you change the billing information, the system cancels the existing request and immediately issues a new one with the new details and, above all, a new variable symbol.
- Once the system receives the payment and issues the billing documents, the details can no longer be changed for these documents!
Therefore, always keep the billing information up to date and check it carefully before making a payment in the payment request e-mail or in the attached PDF file.
