Domain re-registration
Open the domain re-registration interface ⧉.
Enter your domain name in the form. Select the hosting option and check the consents. Continue with the order.

Obtain the domain authorization password.
- For a CZ domain, you can send it directly from the order form.
- For other domain extensions, request it from the current registrar.
Domain authorization passwords are usually sent by systems to the domain owner's email address.
Complete the re-registration order.
If the re-registration is charged, pay the re-registration fee sent to the service billing email.
If the re-registration fee is applied, it will also extend the domain registration period by 1 year.
Check your email. Confirm the re-registration authorization requirements from both WEDOS and the original registrar.

The re-registration will be completed within 1 hour after payment of the fees and confirmation of all requirements.

Website and email transfer
This guide covers the simplest possible way to transfer a website and emails, which is the service Paid transfer from a competitor ⧉. Other ways to transfer websites, emails, and domains from a competitor can be found in the advanced article Services – Switching from a competitor.
We perform website transfers from a competitor only if FTP access exists. If you do not have this access and cannot obtain it from the original provider, the website cannot be transferred.
After the service is created, send a request for website migration, or email migration, via the form ⧉ according to the template:
I request website migration (replace the bracket with the website name) from a competitor. The access details are:
FTP server: (replace the bracket with the FTP server address at the competitor)
FTP username: (replace the bracket with the FTP username at the competitor)
FTP password: (replace the bracket with the FTP password at the competitor)I agree with the price of the transfer from the competitor.
If you are migrating emails as well, include their addresses and passwords in the request, as well as the address of the IMAP server at the competitor.
Wait for further instructions from support. We usually handle requests within 1-2 business days, depending on the complexity of the transfer and workload.

Pay the issued invoice.
After the migration is complete, carefully check the functionality of your website and the completeness of the emails. Report any deficiencies to support immediately in the reply to the transfer conversation.
Switching bonus from a competitor
Bonus for switching from a competing web hosting provider ⧉ is granted in addition to the first prepaid period.
In the first step of the order, fill in
- The domain under which you have the web hosting with the competitor
- The Switching from a competitor section
To qualify for the competitor switch, you must provide proof of payment for the given period to the competitor's provider. Make sure the attached document contains:
- The domain name matching the name of the new Webhosting
- The expiration date of the original service
- Proof of payment for the original service.
