Creating a new user
The system creates the first (main) Disk user automatically when the service is set up. Its login details are sent to the service billing email.
You can add additional users to Disk with 100 GB capacity (3 total) and 1–3 TB (5 total). Follow these steps:
- Log in to the customer administration ⧉.
- In the top menu, select Server Services Disk.
- From the services, select the disk to which you want to add a user.
- In the left menu, select New Disk User.
- Fill in the user details:
- Login: User name identifier.
- Path: Path to the user's root directory (default /, i.e. the Disk root directory).
- Email recipient for the password.
- Confirm the settings with the create user button.

Frequently asked questions
How can I make it possible for more users to use the service?
Each Disk plan has a maximum number of users that cannot be increased. You can connect multiple devices through one user account, but we cannot guarantee that data transfer will work properly when multiple devices are connected simultaneously from one account.
