Current service status
The current service status can be found in the Status service at wedos.status.online ⧉.
This service continuously monitors our services and updates information about any operational issues every 10 minutes. If issues arise for which we do not have Status measurements set up, we add information here about their progress and resolution manually.
What the Status service is and how it works
Online monitoring at wedos.status.online ⧉ monitors not only the servers currently running all our services, but you can also find current information here about the functionality or non-functionality of individual domain name registries (which we use for registration), DNS servers, customer administration ⧉, WEDOS API, optical paths, or protections such as DDoS, IDS/IPS, and others.
Advantages of WEDOS Status:
- It is outside our infrastructure, so even if you cannot reach us (due to a block on your side), you will know what is happening.
- The service is completely independent of devices or third parties. It is a simple HTML page.
- We send data to the service automatically, semi-automatically (requires an active step from one of our staff to add the information), and manually.
- You do not need to log in to the customer administration for basic information.
WEDOS Status is the fastest and easiest way to find out whether all WEDOS services and systems are functioning. Because we can also send data to WEDOS Status manually, you will also find information here about planned outages and other related systems, such as registry outages.
Information about outages
The most detailed information about the status of services can be found in the customer administration. On the Outages, incidents, and changes ⧉ page, you will find a complete logged overview of all events that have occurred or are planned. You can filter these events and click through for a more detailed description.

In the overview you will learn:
- Name – Contains the server reference number + a brief description of the event
- Type – Category of change (outage, incident, or change)
- Date – Date and time when the event occurs
- Duration – Estimated duration of the event
In addition to the records in the customer administration, you will also receive an e-mail about all events, or a push notification from the technician responsible for the given type of event. You can change the details of event delivery in the customer account settings.
Frequently asked questions
Can I set up my own Status solution?
Yes, in two ways:
- You can download Status data via API and process it in your own application:
https://wedos.status.online/cs/json/status.json - Monitor your services through wedos.online ⧉.
How can I continuously monitor the Status service?
If you want a detailed overview of the service status, keep the Status website ⧉ open in your browser tabs and set automatic refresh directly on the page (in the menu in the top right). Then just watch the tab icon: if the icon is green with a white checkmark, everything is OK and all WEDOS services and systems are functioning; orange with an exclamation mark indicates a warning (for example, a server may be overloaded). In case of an incident or fault, the tab icon changes to a bright red color with an exclamation mark.
How exactly do I set up automatic refresh for the Status service?
The ↻ button refreshes the page once. To enable automatic refresh, open the menu next to the button and check “automatic refresh”.
