Activation of the LowCost or Extra plan
If you want to change the Webhosting variant to LowCost, or vice versa to Extra (a comparison of all variants can be found on the Webhosting comparison page ⧉), follow these steps:
- Log in to the customer administration ⧉.
- In the top menu, select Hosting services Webhosting.
- Select the service for which you want to change the variant.
- In the Information table, next to Webhosting variant, click the change link.
- In the table of add-on services, select the required variant and click the green + button on the left side of the row.
- In the add-on service detail, click the Activate button.

You can change the variant only before the service expires. If you want to change it after that date, request the change from customer support via the contact form ⧉. Please include the service name, the required variant, and a request to send a new invoice.
After activating the Extra ⧉ variant, the system will generate and send an additional invoice with a seven-day due date the following day. You can try the Extra variant for free for 7 days. If you deactivate it again within that period, the additional invoice will be cancelled.
After activating the LowCost ⧉ variant, the lower price will only be reflected on the next payment request. If there is an unpaid payment request for the service, after activating the LowCost variant the system will cancel the original request and issue a new one for the reduced amount within 1 business day. You can speed up issuance of the request by manually renewing the hosting.
The Extra and LowCost variants are mutually exclusive. To activate one, you must first deactivate the other.
NoLimit plan settings
The process for deactivating variants is the same as in the case of activation. However, in the table there is a magnifying glass icon instead of the + button, and in the next step you click the Deactivate button.
If you deactivate the LowCost extension, the system will issue an additional invoice for an amount corresponding to the difference between the price of the LowCost variant and the standard NoLimit variant for the remaining service period. The system will warn you about this before confirming the deactivation.

Common problems
Common problems with changing the webhosting variant include:
- The plan cannot be changed after the service expires
- Because of email size, the plan cannot be reduced from Extra to NoLimit
- Deactivating the Extra plan turned off HTTPS
Changing the plan after the service expires
Problem: The service has just expired and it does not allow me to change the variant according to these instructions. It says: To set an extension, the service must not be less than 0 days before expiration.

Cause: The system does not allow customers to change the settings of Webhosting add-on services after the service has expired.
Solution: Contact customer support via the form[form]. Please submit a request to change the variant according to this template:
I request a change of the webhosting plan (webhosting name) to (plan name). Please send a new invoice.
Emails when downgrading from Extra to NoLimit
Problem: When trying to deactivate the Extra extension, the following error message appears: The Extra extension cannot be removed. The email space after removing the extension (5120 MB) is smaller than the current email size (XXXX MB). First reduce the size of the emails.

Cause: The Extra extension includes, among other things, an additional 5 GB of space for emails. To reduce the plan, you must first make sure that the new service configuration has enough capacity for the current contents of the mailboxes.
The mailbox capacity recalculation in the administration runs approximately once every 14 days, so the system may not register mailbox cleanup immediately, for example. Customer support can update the capacity manually.
Solution: You can delete emails, or increase mailbox capacity with an add-on service according to these instructions. If the system does not reflect the changes you made, ask customer support ⧉ to manually update the email capacity. The usual processing time for the request is 1 hour + 1/2 hour for processing in the system.
HTTPS being turned off by deactivating the Extra plan
Problem: After turning off the Extra plan, the website connection over HTTPS does not work.
Cause: HTTPS connection is, for historical reasons, listed as an add-on service that used to be part of the Extra package. For some services, the link between these services may not have been broken, and turning off Extra also turns off the HTTPS add-on service.
Solution: Activate the add-on service HTTPS Support, or use the quick HTTPS setup right away.
Frequently asked questions
Does changing the plan affect emails in the mailboxes?
Usually not. An exception may be switching from the NoLimit Extra plan to a lower one, where there is only 5 GB of space instead of the original 10 GB. In such a case, the system will allow the change only once there is less than 5 GB of emails in the mailboxes, or you increase the mailbox capacity separately so that your mail still fits into the mailboxes after the plan change.
How much will I pay extra? Or will you refund something?
When you upgrade the plan, the system will issue an additional invoice within 1 business day calculated until the end of the service billing period. When you downgrade the plan, we do not refund overpayments.
Why did the variant change and price increase happen at all?
We want our NoLimit service to have the best price/performance ratio on the market, while keeping up with the requirements of modern content management systems. We increased the performance so that even more demanding websites will have no problem with it, and we adjusted the price accordingly.
We created the LowCost variant for customers who can optimize their website enough that the limited performance is sufficient.
