This article describes how to set up automatic message forwarding in the WebMail ⧉ client. You can also forward emails directly from the mailbox, or redirect them from the domain.
The screenshots were taken in the new Elastic theme. If you are using the older Larry theme, follow the written instructions, or change the theme temporarily according to the manual.
In this article, you will learn:
- How to automatically forward a message
- What other forwarding options are available
- Frequently asked questions
Automatic message forwarding
The system deletes automatically forwarded messages from the server after forwarding, even if delivery fails.
To set up message forwarding, first create a new filter using these steps:
- Sign in to the WebMail ⧉ client.
- In the top right corner, click the Settings button.
- In the left menu, select Filters.
- Click the Create button.

In the new filter form, fill in:
- Filter name: Choose any name that will help you easily identify the filter.
- Scope: If you do not want to forward mail based on criteria (e.g. a subject containing the word Invoice), select All messages.
- Action: In the menu, select Forward message to and fill in the email address you want to forward messages to in the empty field.
Finish the setup by clicking the Save button.

Message notification
If you want to notify about the message being received instead of forwarding it, select Send notification instead of Forward message to, and set the notification email address here, as well as the notification message and other parameters if needed.
Additional forwarding options
You can extend basic forwarding with additional options, for example:
- Adding more email addresses to which you want to forward messages.
- Keeping forwarded messages in the mailbox.
Forwarding to multiple addresses
Add additional addresses for forwarding by clicking the + button in the Action section and entering the Forward message to action and email addresses again.
Keeping forwarded messages in the mailbox
With the standard forwarding setup, WebMail deletes the forwarded message. If you want to keep it in the mailbox as a backup or for another purpose, follow these steps:
- Use the + button in the Action section to add a new action.
- In the action menu, select Copy message to and then Inbox.

Frequently asked questions
Can I forward messages in another way?
Yes, you can also set up forwarding for the mailbox in the hosting settings, or directly on the domain (this applies to all mail routed to that domain).
