The operation of the CD service will be discontinued. The service cannot be created, existing customer services will continue to operate until the final shutdown, and we will inform you of the date in time by e-mail.
This article deals with CD service user accounts. Instructions for managing WEDOS Disk service user accounts can be found in the article Disk – Users. If you need to deal with an account for the customer administration, go to the article Administration – Customer Account.
In this guide you will learn:
- How CD service user accounts work
- How to create and activate a new user
- How to manage a user account
- Frequently Asked Questions
CD User Account
The CD service uses a unique WEDOS ID account for login. This account may or may not use the same e-mail as the customer account (for logging in to the administration). At present, each WEDOS ID account can log in to only one CD service.
You can assign one WEDOS ID account to at most one CD service.
Creating a New User
Creating a new CD user consists of two steps – after creating it, you still need to activate it.
Create a new user account with these steps:
- Log in to the customer administration ⧉.
- Click the CD tab in the top menu.
- Select the WEDOS CD for which you want to create a user.
- In the left menu, select the NextCloud Users (X) link.
- In the user list, click the New User link.
- Fill in the User E-mail.
- Confirm with the Create button.

Activating a New WEDOS ID User
As the final step of creating a new user, an e-mail with login details and a link for account activation was sent to the specified address.
Now activate the account with these steps:
- Copy the password from the e-mail WEDOS ID – Account Setup for the CD Application.
- Click the application activation link.
- On the Application Activation page, fill in the required account information, security questions, and password.
- Confirm the activation with the Activate button.

Managing a CD Account
For a WEDOS CD account, after activation you can only change the password. You can also deactivate it (prevent the user from logging in), or delete it.
You can also change the password within the WEDOS ID ⧉ service.
Perform the WEDOS CD account settings with these steps:
- Log in to the customer administration ⧉.
- Click the CD tab in the main menu.
- Select the WEDOS CD for which you want to temporarily suspend the user.
- In the left menu, select the NextCloud Users () link.
- On the left side of the user list, click the pencil icon.
- In the Action box, choose Disable, Change Password, or Delete.

By blocking the account you disable the user's login. Their account will remain paired with the given CD service. If you want to remove it completely, delete it.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can one WEDOS ID account be used for multiple CD services?
At present this is not possible. If you need to grant one user access to multiple WEDOS CD services, create a new account for each one, for example by using e-mail aliases that you can add to mailboxes in the settings.
How do I change the password for the account when I do not have access to the customer administration?
