Preparing the service for transfer
Every service that you manage from your customer account is informationally independent in this account. All data needed for operation is therefore stored directly with the service itself.
Changing customer account details or transferring the service to another customer has no effect on the data of the specific service (billing details, owner/operator details).
Before transferring the service, make sure that the service has the new owner's billing details set. Follow the guide Services – Billing Information.
Change service billing details:

Domain transfer
If you have the new owner's billing details set for the domain, you can move on to the next step, which is changing the domain owner according to the guide Domains – Change Owner.

You can then transfer the domain to the new owner's customer account according to the guide Services – Transfer Between Accounts. However, the new owner can also transfer it themselves using the authorization password, or they can transfer it to another registrar. However, a domain transfer usually does not change either the owner or the domain DNS servers (NSSET).
Transferring the hosting service
If you have the new owner's billing details set for the hosting service, you can move on to the next step, which is changing the service operator. This is the same for all hosting services and is carried out according to the guide Services – Change Operator.
Then move the hosting to the new owner's customer account according to the guide Services – Transfer Between Accounts.
Transfer the service to another customer account:
Common problems
Common problems when transferring services include:
Invoices are still going to the original owner
Problem: I transferred the domain to the new owner, but I am still receiving invoices.
Cause: This problem has two most common causes: either you transferred only the domain and are receiving invoices for an untransferred webhosting service (or vice versa), or you did not change the billing details permanently in the system, i.e. according to the guide for changing service billing details.
Solution: Terminate the services that you do not want to transfer or pay for. Services in another customer's account can only be edited by the owner of that account, or by a user authorized for these services. If you do not have the authorization, contact us ⧉ and we will contact the new owner with a request to update the service billing details. However, the change itself is up to the owner.
Frequently asked questions
Will the new owner see my service history?
The new owner cannot see any service history containing personal data, with the exception of the current billing details if you leave yours there.
